Unit One - Response to Kate Kilpatrick

Netflix, Inc. – Very good information and research on an issue that is obviously very important to you.  While this may be an economic issue on a personal level, this issue will not necessarily affect all people the same.   Those that have never been associated with Netflix, that don’t rent movies or go to the movies, the price of Netflix will not matter to them.  What Netflix charges for movies received in the mail or streamlined via online is irrelevant to that same group of people.  Conversely, there are those that don’t care what the price is, because this is their choice of entertainment, so they are willing to pay no matter the cost.  I am sure all people live on some type of budget; however, the amount that a person will spend on this type of entertainment is a personal choice and not something that is forced on the consumer.  The price will indeed be decided by the provider, but the initial or continued service is a choice made by the consumer.
